From August 2nd to 8th, IDE will hold its stall in the Swiss Pavilion at the 2010 Universal Exposition in Shanghai. Our action has been made possible after we approached successfully “Présence Suisse” and the Swiss Embassy in China.

The stall will be ours during the first week in August, and we will offer awareness-raising animations on children’s rights, and diffuse IDE’s activities in the field. Children will be able to take part in a game on child rights issues. The winners will receive the YOUMI cartoons, outlining children’s rights in a playful and child-friendly way. This cartoon by Trinco has been translated into Chinese by IDE.
Three evening lectures will be presented to selected guests during the week, to introduce IDE, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the importance of participation of children to any matter concerning them.
Do call in and take part in the Youmi game!
